The night is deep dark, and pitch black.
Thick dark clouds cover the sky.
No light comes through.
The fog is too dense to see what's ahead.
Every step that I take is into the unknown.
The denser the dark clouds.
The more I want to lay in Your embrace.
Light of the world, shine Your light through.
I just want to lay my head on Your lap.
Cry away to You.
You have gone through all suffering.
Give me the strength to go through these troubles.
All my friends have left me.
The love of my life has gone forever.
There is no one around.
The armies have marched around me.
They have closed it on me on all sides.
I am now caved in.
There is no way to escape.
I call upon the Savior who won many battles.
The King over all, come to my rescue.
There is no one who would fight this battle.
I give way to You.
You have won all battles.
Give me the strength to wait for Your rescue.
You trusted me with many things.
I made sure to break everything.
I am sorry, God.
I do not want my old life back.
I do not want to repeat my mistakes.
You are the love of my life now.
I do not want to hurt You anymore.
I do not want to break Your heart again.
Master, chain me with Your righteousness.
Fence me in like the sheep, oh Shepherd.
I completely surrender.
I just want to be clay,
Make me, in the hands of the Potter.
I now want to come clean.
To live a life obeying You, my God.
Please wash me.
These stains won't go away without you.
These stains are deep and need pure blood.
No bull’s, goat’s, or lamb's blood can purify me.
Wash me with the blood of Jesus.
Purify me from my uncleanness Oh God Almighty.
You are the epitome of mercy and grace.
You called me Your son through Jesus.
Take me in.
I will live as a living sacrifice to You.
An offering through fire and flames.
I now live in the shadow of the Most High.
He covered me with the feathers of His wings.
Hold me close.
The fortress of the Most High God.
The ramparts that can never be brought down,
The protection of the Saviour.
The Blood of the Royal One
The Word of the Everlasting God.
I lay my trust in the Holy One
What a privilege I have through You.
I worship You.
I now command the serpent and the lions
In Jesus' name, they obey me.
