Even in the darkness, God,
You're my light.
Even in the deepest darkness God,
You are the light that gives me life
When all hope is gone, Lord,
You're the rock.
When all my hope is shattered, Lord,
You're the rock that cannot be moved.
As the oceans rise, God,
What shall I fear?
As the oceans rise like a wall, Lord,
You walked on water, I won't drown.
When evil closes in, God,
You are holy.
When evil closes in on me, God,
The Holy of Holies surrounds me.
When death calls my name, God,
It is time, God.
When death knocks on my door, God,
I know I am coming to meet my maker.
When everything is calm, God,
You are God.
When the sky is clear and blue, God,
You have won the battle and claimed my victory.
For Your name, God, I build an altar of praise.
It is only by Your name God, I have victory. Glory to You, Almighty.
