One day, when I woke up, I heard the Lord say, "son, worship me in spirit and truth." I replied, "God, I don’t know what it means to worship you in spirit and truth." After a day or two, it was the afternoon time, I saw a vision that explained what it means to worship in spirit and truth. This is about the vision and its explanation.
Worship
in spirit.
To
the background.
In John chapter 4, Lord
Jesus is talking to a Samaritan woman. During the conversation, Lord Jesus
said,
KJV
- 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of
the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall
worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to
worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth.
NIV
- 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation
is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to
worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit
and truth.”
So, Lord Jesus said, “lady,
we (the Jews) know whom/what we worship, I’ll teach you how to worship my Father, as He
likes those who worship Him in spirit and truth as God is a Spirit.”
Now to the vision.
I was
sitting on my chair, and I was singing a song, probably a redemption song that
the Lord puts in our hearts which no one knows – Psalm 40. While I was singing,
the vision started.
I saw a dark space. I won’t
call it a room as I could not see the wall, but the space was dark. At the
center of the space, there was a table. Towards the far end of the space, from
where I was seeing, there was a throne. On it, someone was sitting. Between the
throne and the table, there was a person standing, much closer to the table
than the throne. As I was watching, someone appeared on the opposite side from
the one sitting on the throne; on the side, I was watching this from. This
person had a body on his hand – looked as if he was dead - and he started to
walk towards the table. When he reached the table, he laid the body that was in
his hands on the table and crossed the table, and went to the person who was
standing between the table and the throne. After a moment, the person who
carried the body in his hands went to the one who was on the throne.
Then, the person went back
to the table and picked up the body that laid without a movement on the table,
and started to walk toward my side, that is the far side of the one who was
seated on the throne. While he was walking in a flash, there were colours,
trees, roads, grass, plants, and everything was beautiful, and the body that
looked dead was not found on his hand. The dark space also disappeared and so
was the throne, table and the 2.
The
explanation:
There were 4 important
things(2)/person (2) in that dark space. Why was it dark? Nothing else mattered
in that space. No wall hanging, no plants, no posters, nothing is important.
The throne (God’s throne), the one on the throne (God), the one standing, Lord
Jesus, and the table (the altar) alone mattered.
The person who was carrying
is the worshiper’s spirit. The body that he was carrying is his own physical
body. He approached the altar and laid the body of flesh on the altar. Went to
Lord Jesus as no one can see the “Father” without going through the Lord. Then
he went to the Father to worship in spirit. Laying down the carnal requirements
and needs on the altar. Why did the body look like it was dead? In the presence
of God, carnality must be dead.
After worshiping, he
started to walk on the opposite side of God. He carried the body, AKA
carnality, and started to head out. In a flash, moving outside of God's
presence, the world appeared, and the body came to life. His spirit that was
carrying the body disappeared. The dark space behind him was not found; even
the entrance was missing. He couldn’t see God nor Lord Jesus.
So, I started to ponder.
How do I enter then? If there is no door, how do I find this place? How do I
not leave this space? What am I supposed to do to stay there? I found this as
the answer. There may be more, but this is just to begin.
- Obedience to God and His Son.
- It is important to understand the difference and connection between the obedience of spiritual and flesh and to obey both requirements. For example, as a part of spiritual growth, obedience to the fleshly laws is required. Without the flesh being holy, spiritual holiness will not come.
- Renewal of our mind.
- Our mind is a work machine. It never stops thinking. To put an end to what it was thinking and refocus on God and His Son and the work they have done to establish the kingdom of God.
- Relationship with God and His Son. Spending quality time with him.
- This is not just reading the bible. This is literally having conversation (with words from mouth) just how you would have a conversation with your spouse or children. Maybe even asking God, what would you like to do now with me, God? I even ask God and Lord Jesus how their day went.
- Praising and thanking all the time.
- Tough one for me, but I’ve learned how to praise him even in the storm.
- Giving glory even when a rock has fallen on us.
- Tough one for me, but I’ve learned how to praise him even in the storm.
- Rid carnality.
- I hardly turn my TV on, I can say this as one example. I’ve gotten rid of all subscriptions to entertain as it was a complete waste of time and refocused those times to do 3, 4, and 5. It's time for me to sell the TV, not even useful for watching the news. Mindless social media nonsense is long behind my back as I am not in any social media. Got rid of all friends who were secular, though they are Christians.
- Living Sacrifice.
- The communion email that I sent has this information. Basically, trying to live the life Lord Jesus should’ve lived. Seeking the signs of the believer, the ones Lord Jesus spoke about in various gospels but quoting Mark 16. Doing what requires to achieve that.
So, in summary, worshiping
God in spirit is to get rid of carnality.
Worship
in truth.
Lord Jesus said to the
Samaritan woman, “we know whom/what we worship.” This is the 1st
truth, to know whom we worship.
I wish our Lord would have
answered the question of Pilate in John 18:38 "What is truth?”
I’ve searched for the truth
for a long time because sickness exists amongst everyone while Lord Jesus went
around healing everyone. Why did Paul have only one thorn while I have a
few/many? Yes, we are meant to have problems, but not sickness, according to
the bible, to those who obey God. For sure, in each of our lives we felt God’s
hand (especially my mom who had a visit from an angel and also the maid who saw
an angel standing next to her, etc), but sickness is something that many
Christians couldn’t shake off from their backs. Moses climbed a mountain and
died. Even his eyesight did not faint. How is it possible? I wish for our
Lord to answer him, or at least one of the disciples should’ve written very
specifically about everything.
Anyways, after knocking on
the door of the Lord’s house for a long time, what I’ve understood is that we
need to know the truth about the Father. If we call God as our Father, how many
of us can say I know my Father? Well, I can say that I know my dad. Until
recently, when he literally started to speak in an audible voice, I did not
know who he was or what he was like. God said, “Everything under heaven is
mine” in Job 41:11. So, we literally live in one of the rooms of the Father’s
house, but how many can say “I know my Father”? If I didn't know who you
are, would you allow me to live in your house? How long? Same with the Father.
It’s also the same thing with Lord Jesus, I didn’t know him as my brother and
my Lord and my way. I had faith, but I did not KNOW them. Hope you see what I
mean by KNOW. When I started to change and implement the 7 points, I started to
know them and started to hear them. Now I know who they are, and I don’t need
to make assumptions.
So, what is the truth? How did I start? I asked the Father, “who are you,
God?” and he started to say who he was/is. I literally hungered for
righteousness and kept asking God. I prayed earnestly for the spirit that Jesus
had, Isaiah 11:2. And I also said “teach me what it means to fear you” as Jesus
delighted in that fear, Isaiah 11:3. It took years to build the relationship,
so invest your time. It's worth it.
I am not boasting, but this is just a testimony of
how God is now considering to answer my requests. I’ve experienced a lot of
miraculous healing. I was almost becoming crippled by arthritis. Every joint
(including joins of each vertebra) was becoming stiff and lost its position,
but the Lord healed me. I never had to visit a doctor nor had to exercise
(exercise made it stiffer). In fact, I’ve not been to a doctor since Jan 2020.
I did not get Covid, not even a common cold, though I went to the office every
day and spoke to people in close proximity, I am not vaccinated
either. How I know my God does more for me through Lord Jesus is this. My
mattress sunk deep. It's only 3 years old out of 7-10 years of life. It
was horrible to sleep in. one day, I commanded it to become firm in the name of
Lord Jesus, and it became firm - glory to God. Since then it's been firm.
This would’ve been impossible without having the relationship I spoke about.
So, in conclusion: worship in spirit is obedience,
renewing the mind, relationship, praise, thanks and glorifying always, getting
rid of carnality and a living sacrifice and worship in truth is to know whom we
worship.
2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the
Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and
love.
